Smile Update!

Alright, well as some of you know, my Camaro's engine was shot and gone to hell well after a week of looking around for another car its come down to 2 choices. First is a 2003 Monte Carlo which is for certain and the second is a 1995 Z28 which I hope i'll get, which I WILL but only if its in good condition as i'm about to go see it in about an hour right now. Well wish me luck guys and here's a pic of the M.C.

Okay..im back from looking at the Camaro and I gotta say that im not getting the damn thing. First it wasnt even a Z, so it had the 3.4, then when I looked inside it had almost 200K miles, driver seat was torn, the engine was amazing it was all black and some of it had rust, I was like "Hell no" also the body was like fucked up a bit, the hood had dents in it all over the place from like hail but the rest of the body didnt...then the quater panel to the passenger side had a shit load of dents. So now im sticking with the M.C. until I find a decent camaro, not a POS. And btw the Monte Carlo has the 3.4L rated at a 180, so its pretty good and I plan to do some nice mods to it so any suggestions?

Re: Update!

please dont waste money on modding the monte carlo, just keep it stock and stack cheese for another camaro. trust me, it will be worth it. there are lots of better camaros out there than raggedy v6 rustbuckets. 6 months from now, you wont be able to stand driving that m.c. where as years down the line in a v8 camaro you'll still get goosebumps. at least i do in the lt1.

Re: Update!

Monte SS is the same, basically, as the grand prix GTP

Re: Update!

Did any of you know that the 06 Monte Carlo SS will have a 5.3L engine? That's crazy. Way too much power for a FWD vehicle, imo.

Re: Update!

the GTP is supercharged, the regular monte ss is not. To get a SS with the same engine as the GTP u would need to buy the "supercharged" SS

Well, according to chevy.. there is no "unsupercharged" SS model.
