Whats the best year for the GS-R?

I have a 2001 Eclipse RS(Really Slow) and its an automatic. Well i'm about tired of it. I drove my friends GS-R and fell in live with it. Now I want one. I want between a 1994-1998or99.I was wondering, whats the best year for the GS-R? If this has laready been asked could you put a post of the thread.
