I have a 99 civic hatch and am thinking of getting a couple of strut bars. What brand should I buy for the struts bars? Does brand make a difference? I know there are front and rear, upper and lower, etc. Does anyone know the difference and what each one does? How are strut bars different from sway bars?

strut bars are ment to stiffen up the unibody of a car by bracing the main suspension connection points(i.e. the strut tower and lower control arms). Sway bars are designed to reduce body roll when cornering. In looking for good strut bars, its good to look for SOLID one peice units, like the neuspeeds.

Before you ask what brand is good you need to know what you are talking about and need to understand what they are:

Awesome thread on Hondavision, texan is a smart dude.
Anyone running skunk2 ties? They appear to be high quality gear, just wanting some input. |
