electronic power steering

i am currently rebuilding a 2.3L engine and i want to get rid of the crank driven power steering so that i can have the space to do a front mounted intercooler with a forward facing throttle body. but the thing is that when i am done the car is also gonna be street legal and drive-able so i want to retain the power steering function so i was thinking about going with an electronically driven power steering pump.

i have found a kit at the provided link but do not know if it will work. has anyone installed one of these suckers(or something similar) on their fox mustang? thanks.
