94'-01' B18b LS

if anyone has had this swap into their 4g civic hatch, can you tell me how much it cost for the motor and the swap fee combined? I was thinking of getting this motor, is this a good deal?

thats a little too pricey. I did this swap in my civic and im still working on it also. Besides you have to get a cable tranny off an 90-93 integra and the axles off of that year to. You also have to get the OBD1 conversion harness if you want to keep it OBD1 or doing a really mess of wiring.

hmotors=good deal! Whatever you buy here is usaully the most reasonable price, the engines are clean as hell BTW!

Yea HMO is a great place to buy an engine... But wow, prices on those are getting higher and higher... Probably because more and more ppl are doing LS/VTEC swaps... Id probably look around locally first... Since this is a domestic engine, u might be able to find it locally and be able to see it, maybe hear it run, and ontop of that save on shipping...

Yeah, you're better off saving some money by finding a B18b locally, 90-93 integra cable tranny and axles, keep it OBD0 with an mpfi swap and you'll need a PR4 ECU. Then you can spend the money you saved on a decent new clutch and other stuff like waterpump, timing belt, seals, etc...

No the prices arent going up. I believe it was the same price when i was looking for my teg engine like 6 months ago
