Repair Manual

Are there any other repair manuals for the 2000-2004 impalas other than haynes? The haynes manual blows its to generalized and i don't always have access to ALLDATA.com. Is there a repair manual that GM sells?

Re: Re: Repair Manual

yeah they do, I own it, its the dealership manual, you can buy it from helmsfor like $135 I managed to find it on ebay for like $60 its what the dealership uses, it uses the correct proper terms so it can be a bit confusing, bit it shows pictures and such, ill take a pic here.....but I love them, hell its what the dealership uses to fix your car when you take it to them...

Re: Repair Manual

All the manuals in the world won't make up for my lack of a good garage and tools =D

I have the generalized Haynes manual. It works for the things I can actually do myself minus a lot of neat tools (Like the tool to get wipers off would have been VERY FREAKING USEFUL)

Re: Repair Manual

Have try Ebay? I have seen lots of repair manuals for Impala there and the prices go somewhere from 35 bucks for worn used one up to 100 dollars for rarely used one.

Re: Re: Repair Manual

I have the Haynes manual and the dealership manual. Between the two of them I get a beter understanding of what's needed when working on the car. However, I still can't figure how too change the rear spark plugs unless I rotate the engine forward which neither state for the 3.8 engine.
Anyone know how?

Thanks.
