Yellow R33GTR...

I'm tempted. To paint my second R33 yellow, that is.

A little novel, yes, but I have seen the odd yellow one, I know it's not a stock colour, which may mean I have to mod the car slightly to make it look right, but hey.

Actually, I believe it was the R33 GTS-T Nismo LM, that can come in a yllow flavour, which may mean the need for me to fiddle with tailpipes and perhaps bumpers.

Comments? Or should I stick with Mica Red?

IMHO,

I have seen a couple of primary colour GTRs (red, bright blue) and they look a little "stink"

Silver, Midnight Purple, Black, Dark Dark blue - all look good.

I reckon metallics, and dark colours look the best.

However - each to their own and the Fast N Furious GTR looked pretty mean in yellow.

Doesn't actually look too bad there...

Also, bear in my the R33 I'venearly finished is purple, so I wanted something to contrast it on the shelf, not another dark maetallic colour. Hence either red or, more risqué, yellow.

It was seeing that photo that jogged my memory

Right then, aftermarket bits, which mufflers do you guys tend to use for the 'larger' look?

As for rims, I was thinkig I might get some Nismo ones, all have to come from HLJ, as the shops round here are pitiful. On second thoughts, the VeilSide rims look rather nice

that's the link to the car.....i know it's no skyline....but it's yellow...it has the bronze te-37's .... so you get the point....looks nice eh?.....well i think it does...just an idea....

if you're not sure of te-37's look at the signal auto SV version....it has te-37's but they're white...and the car is like midnight purple....it runs 8 sec in the quarter mile on street tires.... ......and the SV stands for "street version"....yea rite...

Nissan skyline R34 GTR currently out of production (probably its already out of production , or a few months left) only avaliable on the japanese market officially and only RHD... This one is heavily modded too... They have a 2.6 L turbo R6 wich produces even 1300 or more HP in some street cars , and 600 hp skylines aren't anything unusual...
