What is the difference in the corolla LE version and DX version. Do they stand for anything?

They both have the same engine in them, there's just a few minor trim options that are different. If I remember correctly, the LE came standard with an automatic transmission and the DX came standard with manual. They're pretty much the same car, though.

I guess that makes since if that is the only difference, since mine is a DX and its a manual.
