Trunk
Rear deck lid (trunk) springs don't work. Can't figure out if it's broke, shot or slipped out of it's retainers, but trunk doesn't stay open at all.
I know most of you guys have third or fourth gen's but second and first gen's I would imagine are similar... what in the hell do I do with this? I ain't putting those hydrolic arms in there... WAY to hillbilly. I'm not sure if those springs actually wear out or not, but it sure as hell seems like it. I don't have to go taking the damn trunk apart to get a new spring in there do I? |

Re: Trunk
Nope. They're springs, and I think they're shot. I guess I have to replace them, but was hoping there was an easier way.
and YES! There is always a problem with my car. Minus the engine/oil leaks though they are minor... i think. |
