Easiest way to remove headgasket from block and head?
What have you guys found to be the easiest way to clean the headgasket gunk off the block and head when replacing it?

buy some of the headgasket removal putty shit, and a nice scraper, you'll be fine.

there is an attachment you can get. i do believe it fits the end of your drill. it looks like a rubber porcupine...should be able to get it at places like napa.
it works really good, just be sure to keep moving all around the block. if you stay in 1 place too long you take the chance of that area getting too hot and warping.

Ive used the disc b4, works great.. also get yourself a can of permatex gasket remover to soften up any stubborn spots. which u can buy at most parts stores
