1st gen DSM vs. the Sebring.

I was just driving to get some lunch at Arbys. I pulls onto 35th south and behind me was a teal Plymouth Laser. It wasn't going very fast I was doing five over the limit and I was pulling away.

However, we came to a red light and she switched to the other lane. At this point I couldn't see the rear fender so I couldn't tell if it was a turbo or not. When the light turned green she opened it up so I bite and did as well. I kept up with her real good; when she shut down I was still at her rear quarter panel. After I shut down she pulled ahead in got in front of me. We then pulled into the same place. She went to the gas station and I went to Arbys. That is when I got a good look at the rear quarter panel, TURBO!

WTF, there is no way I should have been able to keep up with her at all. She should have whipped me like a little bitch. I know she had it WOT so she was trying. Best I can figure is that the engine is in piss poor shape with bad compression, she sucks at driving a stick, or both.

Either way, too bad for that poor DSM.

She wasn't bad lookin' but not a knock out either. I've never tried the reubin I just the usual which is a Arbys melt with no red sauce and some chicken fingers. As for the Sebring it is rated at 160 HP and 173 ft/lbs of torque at the crank.

Could it of been an auto?
the 1st gen DSM is supposed to be 200hp at the crank but the 4G63 ages like crap. they do lift thier heads easy so it could be as you said Poly, it migh of been loosing compression. and the Seabring is a good sprinter
nice run.

Nah, her shifting was to rough to be an auto. You could tell when she'd let out the clutch. It must have been running like crap, that is the only explanation I can think of. The Sebring is a high seven, low eight second car to sixty so she should have creamed me.

Oh well.

You catch all the luck in the Sebring don't you? Forget the GTC, start fixing up the Sebring . You didn't lose by much, but you still lost. So...good death .

LOL!

Me with children, that ain't happening for a long ass time.

I'd get some more kills in the GTC but I just worry about driving it without insurance. I need to find some cheaper insurance for it. Had I been in the GTC she would have been creamed.

As for Mexico, nah, not really my place of choice.
