engine, and door warning light won't work

My engine and door warning lights won't light up, but the tail light does. Nad its not the buld because i tried moving the tail light one around and the others still don't work. Anyone ever heard of anything like this or have any sugestions.
It's in an 87 Supra, i just purchased, i know theres a porblem with the engine but need the trouble code form the engine light.
