2.4l to 3.1l?

I tried searching for it but i cant seem to find it, i read post either on this forum or the 2g forums. but it said something about getting certain parts and being able to convert a 2.4L to a 3.1L. i am intrested in doing this if anyone has info on please let me know.

EDIt: is this even possibleto make a I4 a 3.1L?

not a very good idea....boring out the engine that much will severly weaken the engine. the cylinder walls will be too thin
