Problem with radio
Hi,
Just bought a Cavalier 1996 4 doors 2.2L and have a problem with the radio The sound is not working good at all. As soon as I turn up the volume let say pass 50%, volume drop significantly and some speakers stop functionning or just play very low. Setting up the balance to front speakers or rear speakers doesnt help much. This volume problem makes it nearly impossible to listen to radio on the highway. Before getting the pain of removing the entire dash to reach the rear of the radio, can i have some inputs on what could be causing this? Thanks. |

Re: Problem with radio
your radio could have a blown power converter chip...I have 2 GM CD cassette combos. I can sell you one if you want, abour $20+shipping. Or your wires in the back of the player could be crossed from a bad aftermarket install.
