Oxygen Sensors- part numbers and replacement?

On a 1996 blazer, I should have 4 oxygen sensors correct? Two should be in front near engine, two should be underneath?

Where exactly would I find these, both in front and underneath?

And can anyone recommend a replacement that I could order online? Ive seen several different types, but I dont want to order 4 of the wrong ones when they are $50 a piece.

Anything special I also have to do for replacing them? Or are they just a yank and replace (like sparkplugs) type deal?

Re: Oxygen Sensors- part numbers and replacement?

One on each exhaust manifold, one before the cat and one after.

Are you going to be going with Bosch or AC Delco?

Just FYI, bosch make AC Delco's O2 sensors and they actually designed the system, so if Bosch are cheaper, go for it.

I wasnt sure which one I was going with, was asking for a suggestion of which is better (i figured ACdelco would be one choice, but didnt know if there was other quality alternates)

And at ACdelco, it shows

SENSOR,HTD OXY(POSN 1) OEM SENSOR IN EXHAUST MANIFOLD
SENSOR,HTD OXY(POSN 2) OEM SENSOR FRT OF CONVERTER
SENSOR,HTD OXY(POSN 3) OEM SENSOR POST CONVERTER

Shows 2 req on the posn2, and 1 on pos 1 and 3. So that means I have one in my exhaust manifold, two in the front of the converter, and one after the converter? Is that right?

Do I need anything else when chaning out the sensors? or just order the sensors and all will be fine? I am seeing 1-way female, 4-way female, 8way male connectors, dont need to order those?

Just go to your local autoparts store and get the bosch ones.

They are cheaper and are the same thing.

Re: Oxygen Sensors- part numbers and replacement?

Bosch is having a special right now, they will give you a $10 gas card for buying an oxygen sensor. Just print out the form and mail it in.

http://www.boschusa.com/images/promo...sCard_Tear.pdf

To get a $10 gas card for each one..buy them seperate, so you get a receipt for each one. Print and mail in a form for each one. They let you have up to 4 per household, but you have to send them all in seperate.
