Re: $13,000 bicycle?

There's a company that makes custom road bikes for fairly serious riders. I read about it a while ago but forget what it was called. Each bike is custom tailored based on size, weight and strength. I know a lot of them are north of 10K, even normal downhillers can run up to about $6,000 or $7,000 depending on componentry.

friend of mine has one of those chopper things, they're hard to ride, but once you get going they're not so bad.

Re: $13,000 bicycle?

back when i was big into racing bikes i remember a guy ordered a 17,000 road bike from the shop i raced for... rode it around the block once. it was nice, but not worth the money IMO.... /sigh

though, i liked how he picked it up in a brand new porsche with a custom bike rack in place of the targa top.

as for the one in the thread... i say BARF!!!

A guy I work with is into stuff like that. His daughter has a custom made bike like that. But I would never pay that much for a damn bike
