Gauge Lights

Something is seriously messed up with my gauge panel lights. The bottom set with the turn signals, the check engine light and all that work but the ones up top dont work. There brand new bulbs, The fuse is good, and when i turn the dimmer all the way to the right the overhead light comes on, My buddys dad who is a mechanic says it was the dimmer switch, so i went and got that turns out, that wasnt it. Any Ideas??? Thanks

Those idiot lights (t1's) can be a little finicky... Make sure that they are twisted in all the way properly... If you're using LED's make sure the polarity is correct. (just turn them 180 degrees)
