He's baaaaack
For those who remember me, I'm back online. (Really now, you can stop crying, I'm not THAT bad.) For those that found this great forum after my departure, here's my story:
For the past year I've been working on taking a $200 junkyard bound '86 2m4 SC and turning it into a street rod speedster. Right now the car is comming apart piece by piece and I'll be powder coating the bare space frame and then getting to work on putting it all back together. Naturally, to be a speedster, the car will be losing one important thing: the roof. Just to keep things interesting, though, the car will keep the rear "roll bar" panel that's molded into the quarter panels and helps frame in the rear window. (the window, of course, is hitting the trash) Power for this beast will be naturally aspired 3.1L V6 I've started building that on paper puts out an impressive 250hp@5500rpm. As part of my will to make this car unique among modified Fieros, this engine will have not the fuel injection that you'd expect, but instead a carb setup. The blueprints now call for a Holley 390cfm 4bbl, but if I can pull it off, it might just end up with with a truly awesome 6-pack. Who knows, I might just top that 250hp rating yet I'm always excited to read about what people do to their Fieros, and I always help out when I can, so expect to see me around here quite a bit ![]() Kurt
