Avoid at all costs is my personal opinion. I have the Revell one and the Tamiya one and the Revell one is just rubbish when it comes to accuracy, overall look, part fit, details, etc.

I don't have either kit so I can't say first hand, but when Scale Auto did a comparison of the two kits, they said the Revell had the edge in body look and proportion. I beleive the also gave the Revell the edge in interior too. Tamiya got the nod in engine detail and wheels. They said both build up nice, but the best would be a kitbash of the two.

The revell kit is poor on bodydetail, mainly the rear wing is hard to get to fit right.
And the wheel size is completly wrong.

Guess Scale Auto didn't spend much time comparing the Revell kit to the real car.

I guess your right about that. The article (in the June 1996 issue) stated that, at that time, only prototype and preproduction photos were in print. They used Ferrari World magazine number 30 as their reference.

The Tamiya kit would be my choice as well...

Does anyone know about the CC Lee kit? My LHS has a stack of them.

Yep, it builds up pretty well, and the fit is great. Nice kit (except for that damn rear mesh grille....)

I made it long time ago (before I was good)
this is a real pain kit. better get the Tamiya kit (that shouldn't be lot more expensive anyway)

even with good modeller, this kit look bad
