swap standard radio with factory cd

Just purchased a '99 Century Custom with the standard am/fm/cassette player. I want to swap it out with a factory unit with cd.

Is it a simple pull and replace? Not really looking to improve sound, just want to add cd capability.

I've seen several factory cd units on ebay and it appears that there are interchangeable units on various Buick models. What should I be looking for?

Thanks,
avm3

I think so. I too have been looking at eBay. I also have pulled the factory head unit. The pictures in eBay match exactly what I pulled out of my 99 Century. Pulling it isn't difficult, either. I think you'll be fine.
