Re: model show in uk

Too far for me, so I'll not be able to make it.

If there's any other modellers here from Scotland (or am I the only one??!!) could you tell me if there's every these model shows up here. I feel a bit left out! It seems every other country have these shows and we don't!

Went to this yesterday. Had a horrifying hangover so didn't feel sociable enough to talk to anybody, sorry! Quite a good show, mainly aircraft and armour, but there was a table with loads of sportscars on which was quite nice, some cool 1/43rds and a couple of very nicely done McLaren M8s (Accurate Minatures?).

Saw the Hornchurch stand, three 1/12 Ducatis, a couple of '60s F1 and a really nice Ferrari 330 P4 (Fujimi I think?). Sorry I didn't stop to chat but, as I said, the sweats were setting in and I didn't stay long.

A couple of interesting traders there including Essex Auto Modelling (lots of detail parts, I can post contact information), and Little-cars.com. He's a helpful chap, contributes to F1m.com. Mainly 1/43, lots of tools etc. Also some second hand dealers, some quite interesting kits about.
