My 89 240 SX with 350 V8 power!
Hey guys,
I have a very clean 89 240 SX hatchback with a Chevy 350 V8 in her...
It handles suprisingly well!

I cut out the fake front air vents to make them functional, they really improve the air flow & cooling!

Its a 5 spd, with a sunroof, 16" wheels with Goodyear Eagles.

Fluidyne Radiator, racing pedals, oil pressure & coolant temp gauges...
Idles perfect & the torque down low is amazing!

I also added some nice driving lites for better night vision...
You should hear how it sounds & the looks on people faces when they see & hear a 240 SX with a V8 & sidepipes on it!
Priceless!

first who did the engine swap and were did the 350 come fromand las how how hard and expensive was that and did you keep any of the cars still have ac .

thats tight the only thing im wondering about is if you try a hard launch and by some miracle the tires hook up you are probably going to snap an axle lol

I will have to see about posting pics....

As far as room in the engine bay goes, more then my old Trans Am's have had...

No A/C (removed) and yes, its hard to get it to hook up with so much torque down low...

In fact, quite often it will chirp the tires just shifting into 2nd without even putting any gas on...
