thermostat gauge

my thermostat gauge isn't working, what could it be? how many o2 sensors are on my 95 4.3 W?

the temp sensor may be bad
should only be one O2 sensor on the exhaust crossover pipe

I would agree with the temp sensor being bad...

As to the 02 sensors, if you're ECM is under the hood on the coolant tank, then you will have either 2 or 3 (depends on the revision) if your ECM is under the dash you will have 1 or 2 (again depends on the revision)

Under the hood=1st revision ODBII
Under the dash=ODBI.5

I am pretty sure it is OBDII. see I thought there is three, I got a code for upstream O2 Sensor (code Po131).

If the ECM is under the hood, you will definatly have one pre cat and post cat, and you MAY have on on the passenger side manifold on the down pipe.
