exhaust question... who likes arospeed

i currently have an N1 apex can on my catback. it was an outrageous 200 dollars. i know you pay for what you get, but since all the lil ricers around here are runnin the same style cans or @ least tips on their cans i wanna get a new exhaust. i recently was offered a nice deal on a used arospeed catback. ive heard they are good but that the welds suck. ive also heard they are mediocre quality to begin with...

help me out... stick with the apexi, or go with this catback...

Re: exhaust question... who likes arospeed

I have an Arospeed can muffler with like 1/2" tip (removed silencer which sux anyway) and the quality of the welds are okay due to it was done by a custom muffler shop but it's guaranteed. The muffler is loud even with a big silencer welded in the midpipe. Here is a pic of how it looks...

Re: exhaust question... who likes arospeed

go with an oem style turbo muffler with 2-1/4" from cat...best sound i've had on my civic

siz is the one that told me about those...as far as aerospeed...seems like another ebay company and their coilovers suck...i don't like the chrome canister mufflers :

Their coil overs do NOT suck! I've had mine for 3 years now... still pretty stiff compared to bouncy ass lowering springs...

BTW... my exhaust sounds sweet!

i have to agree. since SEMA we've installed several arospeed coilovers. they are neither better nor worse than other brands. i have not installed their exhaust yet, won't comment on that.

the only thing arospeed has really pissed me off so far is the guy we were calling to order kept screwing the order up...so now i just order thru their online system. problem solved

Re: exhaust question... who likes arospeed

Is the aerospeed exhaust still installed on another vehicle? You can hear it for yourself.. or maybe ask if it sounds good. (hopefully they would be honest) if you are worried about the welds then you could just have them double welded by a shop or something.

Re: exhaust question... who likes arospeed

it has been rumored arospeed is going out of business. i just stopped by their online store www.arospeed.com and it has been reduced from fully functional online store to a list of what they have left.

i sure hope you aren't spamming your ebay store as you only have 2 posts and they are both threads you dug up to talk about how to get your arospeed at the ebay store.
