Im replacing my clutch in a 92 toyota pcikup 4cyl 2wd, and i havent a clue where to start. But i got the shop open tomrow that i work at, and it has a lift and all the tools. i have the parts, flywheel, plate bearings baskets ect. but i just need a little explanation on how i might go about doing things. if anyone could throw me a line before tomorow morning that would be great. thanx

Stop at an auto parts store and get a Hayne's manual. If you don't want to spend the money, then try your local library. Some libraries have online databases that can be accessed through the internet. You might need a library card number to logon.
All the shops I worked at had manuals, does yours? When standing under your truck is a good time to inspect fuel lines, exhaust hangers, brakes, etc. Have some cash on hand in case you need to have any parts delivered. |
