first night out feeling like a moron..

it was my first night out really cruising for a while with my spyder. My friend and I originally intended to go to wendy's it turned out to be so much more.

Owned a corolla and a civic on the main drag. That was fun. They were both very cool about it and we stopped down the road to talk for a bit. I was surprised you would think they might get mad but they wanted to show off their cars and I was willing to take a gander. The corolla was very nice looking but fairly slow. The civic was turbo'ed but he had a full load with 5 people in it.
I got made fun of because of my lame pull out almost stalling on the hill where we started at. They both drove auto so driftint wasn't of their concern.. :/ I really have to master the pulling out on a hill...

Then we finally went to wendy's. This is where the embarassment begins. We were all alone in the wendy's parking lot eating frosty's when a car pulls up next to us. of all the spaced in the lot right next to us. Tinted windows and All and we are sitting there with the top down and I couldn't see what was going on so instinct said leave and go somewhere else. Hopped on the road and drive over to mcdonalds and sit there for a bit. Car pulls up next to us again I was like wtf. My friend insists it's the same car and I'm like "no, look no tint" (here the windows were down and I'm a moron). The driver of the car female starts talking to my friend. She asked why we drove off the last time adn he explained and at that point we felt so dumb.

He ended up with a phone number. I ended up feeling dumb for driving off. But to my defense my friend got car jacked in the same parking lot last year while he was in the car. They threw him out of it.

Oh well. I still say it's one of the nicest looking car's I have ever seen. The eclipse's bodies are so nicely curved. It was also very impressive that after all that had been done to the two cars I ran against they still seemed to really really like my car. I'm pretty sure the civic would have owned me had he not have had the weight in it... I'm completely stock (and broke since I bought the car!)

bah. phone #? bah. nice to see somebody else broke besides me. summer is coming up and i gotta have money with a clean car. You guys know. For the chicks.

both broke we are engineering majors. He goes to a more expensive school then I do for mechanical enginnering so he can't afford the car. I go to a cheaper school for computer engineering and I can afford the car. In the long run neither of us could afford the girl. Sadly the car is probably the only way we will either ever meet girls.

I however was lucky enough to find a female friend before I turned into the recluse of a CE major I have become...

My parents keep telling me I shouldn't have bought the car and saved my money.. I don't know who to listen to.. them or the car that says drive me and feed me the overpriced gasoline that I crave!

It's a good thing best buy pays so well.
