Re: idle problem

Im not to sure what the sound was, but when you said the rpm went down to 400, it kinda seems to be an alternater, but it most certenly be more. If there was no noice is could be puel pressure regulater. now im giving my thoughts on this based on what you stated as a "noise". But thats my thoughts. if anybody has something better, lets hear your thoughts.I hope this helps a little. do a load test on your batt and alt, and see if thats the problem before you replace it and wast your hard earnd $$$..

Re: idle problem

My Alero 01 2.4L has some problem. The car stays in dealership 2 days. They did a lot of tests, replaced 4 plugs and cleaned injectors (~ 200$).
Now I feel this sound very rarely....
