Emergency Help!

Okay good people. Here is my problem. I'm new at car repair, so I figured i'd start somewhere. I replaced mt fuel filter according to one of those aftermarket repair manuals after a few mistakes, but now it's on and The car won't start. The fuel isn't under pressure because I unscrewed everything and no fuel leaked like when stuff was removed. It says something about after hooking up the battery, apply voltage to terminal located in the engine compartment to activate the fuel pump. What?? I mean the engine turns over, but nothin! Doh! Please help. You will be a hero!

never heard of it but heres what i could think of , first of all , are you sure the filter is installed in the right direction ? no offence but its just the stupid mistake that'll slip trough and keep you busy for hours
other then that you could remove the seating part of your backseat and aply voltage the the feul pump right there .
im not sure wich mirage you have but with the 4th generation (91-94) 2-door there's nothing to it , you just pull the little release levers under the seat , cant miss en , two little plastic rings

well , thats my

good luck dude
