What car to get? It can be new, used, or a hybrid creation.

its from http://af.datablocks.net/vbulletin/s...3?threadid=379

..................
Just kidding!!!!!!
I think it all depends on the purpose of getting a car. all have different intents, some have families, other like to go fast... etc.
But the new 2002 Q45 would be a good choice.
im too lazy to go find the pics, specs, and info.. someone please go do it for me...

Well, the Caztek is the only obvious choice, but other than that I'm not sure. Here would be my top choices...

'95 RX-7 R2 (and use the rest to modify it)
Lotus Elise
Panoz AIV roadster

I have to go with 3rd gen RX7 as well, with some 18" Volk SE37s, 20B decked out, etc

Then again, 60 grand into my Jetta would give me an AWD 400hp widebody monster... mmm...

I change my choice to...
A red Z3 (for my girlfriend)
and a 95-97 Tacoma Extended Cab, 4WD.

I'd use whatever's remaining to mod my truck (6" lift, some superswampers, fun stuff).

Get a 930 porsche from the mid to late 80's for like 30,000 and then mod it with the rest of the money. You will have a 500+hp beast.

Smile

For 60K you can get a really nice >1988 Ferrari 328GTS or a 1990 348. You would be very happy with either of these cars.

Yes I have a '86 328GTS. But if you want to spend $60K, go for the 88 with ABS.

Here's my 1986 328GTS:

You can find cars like this for under $42K. Mine is a Euro model and doesn't have cats, which means that if you live in a metro area that tests emissions, you probably need a US version.
