Head gasket leak-95 Explorer

I have a 95 explorer with a very slight coolant leak where the head meets the block on one side of one head ......I'm adding a few ounces of coolant every week or so ,
I know the thing to do is bite the bullet and pull the head and replace the gasket.........My question to some of the experianced is would it be wise go add some of the available leak sealing products to see if it haults the seep by the gasket .

97 had same issue

I didn't get it fixed and just kept adding fluid.... A couple months later I blew the engine. So my suggestion is get it fixed soon unless you want to replace the entire engine.

Thanks for the advice....I do plan to pull the heads but don't have the time for a couple of weeks, so I used Bar's head gasket repair...which is a silicon formula that is supposaed to find the leak, seal it with a ceramic like seal......It was a pain because I had to completely flush the antikfreeze from the sytem...then I bypassed the heater core and followed instructions.......So far so good....no leak.....Maybe it will get be by until I can pull the heads....
