Sounds like a personal problem.

Just kidding man. Good luck to you getting the wheels up. No doubt you'll get them eventually. Any possible solutions? More power? New slicks? Launch at a higher RPM?

Re: I can't get it up ... *sigh*

evil6, I can't go to slicks because of class restrictions ... but I am goingto start launching on boost

Igovert ... haha

Redneck, I did not miss any gears. I think we are hearing the Talon. I think I had a really unsmooth/slow shift from 1st to 2nd which is why the front end came down so hard.

Hopefully we can get these bugs sorted out between my driving the new set up and the lack of power (mph). We'll see what happens next weekend at NHRA @ Atco.

Thouron, it's just an mpeg file ... you should be able to play it any media player (RealMedia, Windows, etc ..)

How come you ran so slow? In comparison to your other runs.

It sounds like somebody is on the limitor... or missing terribly... I hear some "stuttering". Is that the Talon?

I is confused...

Re: I can't get it up ... *sigh*

I'm pretty sure you are hearing the Talon, but I am not 100% certain.

My driving was off as I have not raced in 5 months which explains the slow ET. The slow mph is another story. We were having a problem with the car running pig rich off-boost and fouling plugs.

The previous run the plugs fouled so bad I ran a low 13 under 115.

Next week at atco, we will be datalogging the runs and I will be in-car videoing the gauges so we know what is going on. I do not trust my own impressions of the driving experience since I have a lot going on in that 11-12 seconds.

Yeah I can hear something missing terribly bad too. But if it were your car missing, then you surely would have been able to felt it.

Either way, looks like you got those tires up a little, lol. I wished mine would come out of the hole like that, lol.

Psh, get some skinnies up front and a fiberglass hood/fender, and you'll be up for sure!

I would think you have already gotten up with a 500 hp 3000 lb car though... im surprised. You must be launching like right above idle or something...

His car isn't no 3000lbs... it's gotta be near 2600lbs. I believe he's already got glass fenders/hood.

Redneck, I think tha_new_guy was talking about chevytrucks92 ride, not mine. He quoted him above, not me.

My car weighs 2650 lbs ... 2820 with me in it.
I only have 380 rwhp or so.
