Focus 2.0L Zetec, mpg?

What kind of figures are you getting? I haven't had the chance to check mine yet.

I average 20 in pretty decent city driving, auto, slightly heavy foot.

That's mediocre mileage for a sub-compact car like the Focus

i get like maybe 28 or so, but i drive maybe 30 mins back and forth to work so thats generally highway mpg, and on long road trips i think the best if gotten was like 32

Yes, I am actually pretty disappointed with it, but Ford only claims about 25 in the city, so...
I only plan on keeping the car for another year till I go off to college, at which point I'd like to get something a little more reliable and with better city mileage...like a Civic.

I have cold air, chip and "open" exhaust w/headers and drive 40,000 a year in the city with my 02 zx3 z-tec and get a real 34mpg city w/out A/C on and 28 with it on. I get approx 38 real mpg on highway running 81 mph no a/c.

I've got an '01 wagon with the 2.0 Zetec and love it. I use this vehicle exclusivley now as my service vehicle and it gets around 20mpg and that's loaded with tools and other goodies in the rear area. I routinely do 90mph in it. My other cars are an '02 Z06 and an '03 Hemi Quad Cab. I love them too. Only mods to all vehicles are K&N air filters and Royal Purple Synthetic oil in the crankcases.

In my Escort Zetec i get 23city and on a highway I can get 43mpg on a cool night, and thats while putting down 121whp/122wtq

cold air, chip and "open" exhaust w/header? no way in hell less you have an SVT, and if you have a moded SVT making only 150whp modded you need to take it to the shop cuz it's a shit tune. lol

a 2.0 NON svt w/ chip, catback, header and intake is about 125 lol
