clicking sound whenever the wheels are rolling..

well its not too noticeable, but theres a consistent fairly quiet, yet crisp clicking or ticking sound as i drive the car. the rate of clicking is directly related to the speed i go, so im thinking its something around the wheels or soemthing. im not exactly sure where its coming from cuz im always the one driving so i cant really pin point it.

i think i've heard it on other cars, and i dont think its my cv's cuz i've recently had them done and its not just around turns, its just constant and its slow when i go slow, and fast when i go fast.. i got nothin, so any ideas or whatever you can tell me will help.

thanks.

Are you sure there isn't a small stone stuck in the tread? Or a nail?

hmm...

it could be something as simple as debri inside the tire tread, if its coming from tires...

but if it sounds like a mechanical issue, wheel bearings maybe but usually they make a more constant whirring sound.

my guess if it was mechanical may be that your CV joints are not jiving. when they get reallllllyy bad, they will click not only when you turn your sterring wheel left or right, but also when you are driving straight.

Re: clicking sound whenever the wheels are rolling..

my order of checks would be treads, wheel bearings, then the cv. as that should be more noticeable when turning.
