Changed Plugs...click click click

Just changed plugs in my girlfriends 01 alero 4cyl.. Car seems to run find but getting a clicking noise now. Any ideas?? Also, is there an easy way to the the engine cover off and back on. I thought it was a PITA getting it back on because of the electrical connection on the right side. Maybe there is an easier way. Thanks, hope you can help me..

The only "clicking noise" that i can come up with is the serpitine belt. but you said all that was done is change the plugs. so... is anything hitting the belt?? the plastic plug wires deviders???

could it be a bad coilpack? Maybe a noise coming from a misfire of sorts? coilpack not sitting right ontop of a plug?

Any type of misfire will trigger a SES light and the same goes for any issue with the ignition system.

Minor misfirings won't neccessarily cause the SES light to turn on, Jermey. I use to have hardcore misfiring, and I only got the blinking SES light under hard acceleration loads. It sounds like you could have minor misfiring. I would make sure 1) they're stock plugs and 2) that they're gapped right. Also check your coil packs, like ksj mentioned.
