Unhappy She's dead...

I had known this day would come, but I hadn't hoped for it to come so soon. I was on my way to work this morning, and I had been trying to be as cautious as I could with my baby. But, things just didn't seem to be sounding right with her. I was only but a few minutes away from work. That's all I had to do was get her to work, and then she would have served her full purpose. But, some things just weren't meant to continue on.

Well, at approximately 2:55 a.m. today the Civ died. Kinda sad, but she took her last breaths, and called it at that. I'm kinda depressed, and at the same time, fairly happy too. But let me just say, that car gave me the best races I have ever come by. I'll miss that little motor that has been keeping her going. It's served it's purpose, and now it's time for a new life to be born within the Civ. Only a few months and several paychecks seperate me from the new birth of my Civ. As far as things go now, I can take off my insurance, and start saving.

In a way, I feel robbed. Because I just spent the time and money buying those performance parts. Having them installed, and barely feeling as though I had the time to enjoy the new victories that I had come upon. But, I did have those small precious moments. I did get few victories. I never had the opportunity to race my father, and I will never know where this Civ stood compared to his car. Although, come the rebirth of her, I will make sure that I find out first hand. As for now, I'm going to get a bus pass. Because that my friends, is the price I have to pay now...
