denali radio button wear

I have a 2003 Denali w/ nav radio, and all of the buttons are wearing off!. The black rubs off and the buttons turn yellow. Dealer replaced the unit and the second one did the same thing within a month!

Anyone else seeing this? Wear starts on the high spots of the buttons.

Never heard that one before. But I did have the color wear off on the dashboard.
