97' park ave drivers window defunct
the window goes down fine but when it goes up the rear side of the glass jumps the seal and binds on itself. It seems as if the window if you had it on a level plane, the rear part of the glass, when acctuated up goes higher than the front part, causing it to be uneven, and the top corner of the glass leaves the seal but then catches itself on it causing the window to bind and slow the motor. I took this to the dealer who put in a new motor and adjusted the track as best that they could but still to no avail. My old 86 p/a had tracs but this 97 is actually trac-less. Has any one experienced this or even have some feedback for me? thanks.

I have seen several windows like this and the problem was the bolts that hold the window to the regulator came loose. Only your window part way and grab the glass pulling up. You shouldn't be able to pull the glass up more than a 1/4 of an inch.

Did your mechanic look at the regulator makinf sure none of the cables were broken, loose or what ever?
Only things left are a bad regulator or a broken window channel.
