Getting lift...tires?
I'm getting one of those 3" torsion bar cam key/ 2" rear block lifts and im tryin to decide which tires i wanna get (for money reasons). I want something that is right around 34" tall. The stock size is the same as 31.75" and 285's=32.8" and will fit with the stock height. So what i really want are ProComp Xterrains but they dont have anything right around a 34". A 305/75R16 is equal to 34" and woud fit perfect but this size seems to be nearly non-existant. So im thinking im just gonna go ahead and see if the 315/75/R16's, which equal 34.6" tall, will fit. So im thinkin 34.6" tires will squat a lil when 6Klbs of truck on it so they might fit. Im gonna be gettin the left put on whenever i get money for tires so of course ill see what the people at the tire place have to say. What do you think? Know of any other sizes that are between 33" and 34"?

Re: Getting lift...tires?
If they're still in business, Dick Cepek made some unique sizes. I had 305/65x16's on my older, unlifted Suburban years ago. They were about 30-31" tall but there were other sizes. Check with 4 Wheel Parts, Dirty Parts and other mail order houses.
