Has anyone changed sealed beam to composite headlights?

So the idea sounded good at the time. "Update the look" I have a 96 blazer with recessed lights. had to wire in a new harness for the H4 bulbs. now ht low beam switch turns on the brights and vice versa. And even though in high beam, lights are still not as bright as the stock lights, but are supposed to be super bright. I feel that I reattached the wiring harness incorrectely.

In any case, just wondering if anyone else has ran into this? Anyone have the wiring schematics for the headlight on the 96 and the H4 bulbs?

Thanks

A forum search turned up that post. He says he has to redo the wiring to the headlights to get enough power/current to the new sealed beam lights. Maybe that's what you need to do...
