Need Some Help
hey guys, ive boiled down my problems with my motor to this. imma sell my crx, but keep my auto b16. i will buy a car that i can more easily drop this motor into without having to have custom motor mounts made.
so i was thinking 90-93 integra, 95-96 del sol, and the 99-00 civic. now my first question, is do i have to buy the b-series version of these cars? like a 99 si, or can i just buy the dx model or something. secondly, i know the integras b18 came with autoboxs, but did either of the others? am i missing any other cars that could install this motor more easily? thanks again guys, you've always been a help to me.

Re: Need Some Help
92+ you won't need aftermarket mounts to make it fit. Its no problem.
I've been considering getting a 96+ DX hatch for my B20VTEC build. We'll see. I haven't drove my car in so long I think I forget how much I love it.Don't get a Del Slo. |

Re: Need Some Help
well my motor is already built, no use building a whole new motor. if i were to get a 99-00 civic, id buy one with a blown motor, so it wont cost as much.
but the integ will prolly be the way to go. as for the civic, your saying i can buy just a dx model and still drop the motor in?

Re: Need Some Help
well my moms occasionally drove my car so she couldnt drive stick, but now she has her own car so it doesnt really matter any more. in any case ive spent too much money on the auto, not to use it know, ive rebuilt the whole thing with new gears, internals and a 3500rpm stall. so imma stick with it. plus if i can get my hooptie in a mag just for having the slush-box, its all the better.
