CV Joint protection?
I just bought a 97 teggy, pertty stock so now i want to lower it
but i dont want to rip my cv boots again like i did with my last car My Question: Is there any way to prevent the CV boots from ripping? Or will the eventually rip and start making that horrible clicking noise again? PEACe!!!

Re: CV Joint protection?
no way to really prevent them from tearing. Once you lower your car you change the angle the axle sits at so it'll have a little increased wear and tear than if you had left it stock height inevitably.

Re: Re: CV Joint protection?
CV boots crack and split no matter what. Replace them and re-pack with grease asap. If you do that your axles could last the life of the car.
