help me with this car!!

my sunfire just would not acell up a hill this morning??

Can you give us more details about the car. Not wanting to accelerate can be caused by a number of items, transmission, plugged cat convertor, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, ignition module, coils, wires, plugs and etc. Please indicate the size of the engine and year.

I've had the cat contver redone, and all my spark plugs,the wires and all the sensors, a new fuel pump and oil filter. how many times does it shift gears before i reach 50-60 it seem to take a while. but that would just be me.

Did the motor sound like it was running fast? Or, did it sound like it was working real hard to keep the car moving? When was the last time you had the transmission serviced (fluid/filter changed), You mentioned a fuel pump, when was the fuel filter last changed (in miles, just an estimate will do)? And, have you ever had the car in for a fuel system cleaning and inspection?
when you say it wouldn't accellerate up a hill, did it seem to work just fine on level road?

It sounded like it was running high. but when i drove it later it sounded fine.i just got the car insecpted about 2 weeks ago saturday. and they didnt say anything about it.
