Need 88' Hatchback Door Panels..

Just my luck... Get an fantastic deal on a 88' Civic DX 5-spd Hatchback (107k, orig owner, $400!) in need of some cosmetic repairs only to find that the 88's are "different" then the rest of the 4th gen hatchbacks. Great. The most pressing item is a set of manual window door panels. Color doesn't matter. If anyone has a set they can sell, let me know.

you can get them from an 88 or 89 civic hatch. i have 89 si door panels in my 88 hatch. the crx changed door panels in 89 to a different style but the civic hatch stayed the same til 90.

Thanks for the fast reply. Not understanding clearly however... If the Civic stayed the same until 1990, then couldn't I use Civic Hatch door panels from 88', 89' or 90'? Also, am I correct in assuming that 88' CRX door panels will not work?

in the 88 hatch..... you can use door panels from either a 88 hatch, 89 hatch, or 88 crx. other door panels have the seat belts built into the door panels.

whats he said is correct. the doors changed in 90 to the new style on civic hatchs. so you can use a 88-89 civic hatch door panel or a 88 crx.
