350 engine rebuild?

I have a 1989 350 in my firebird with what we believe is a cam knock. Can that engine be rebuilt or is the cam journal something that can't be rebuilt using oversized bearings? Or can they hone or fix that? Basically, is the engine worth rebuilding or does it need to be scrapped and replaced?

a cam knock? never heard that before. what ever your problem is, you will find out if you can save the block only after you disassembled it and have it checked for cracks, etc...
