Great Story

Since the good folks at NASOIC dont really appreciate stories about street racing on their site id thought id share this cool stoy with u guys

Ok so the other night im in my friends F-150 crusing around a popular spot for tuners. We are arguing about AWD vs RWD he keeps telling me that AWD sucks because you lose "tons" of top end tourqe. (His F-150 has intake and exausht so he thinks hes fast ****.) I tell him all the atvantages of AWD but he wolnt hear it. At the next light we see this riced out civic with green decals and fake spinners(yes the plastic ones) rofl so anyway he lines up and revs his truck which sounds pretty good with his borla Cat-back. The civic revs out and the whole exausht rattles and makes that signature civic rice sound. The light turns green and my friend gets the launch and in a few seconds we are ahead of the civic by like 1 -2 cars. The civic must have had some mods cause it started to creep up, i dont know how exactly, but we were neck and neck going down the two lane pike.

It was then I said something along the lines of "Top end power my ass!" and then, like a message from god this blacked out 04 WRX comes out of nowhere. Its right behind us keeping up easily and i look back and im liek OMFG!!@! It was prolly the coolest looking car ive ever seen it was black with tinted windows ,gunmetal rims, CF hood looked oem but no spolier. He saw it in his rearview and said "Whoa thats nice". Then the WRX driver floors it and goes AROUND us on the right SHOULDER. We could see him kicking up stones since it wasnt paved as well as the street. Hes ****in flying and shoots by my window, as he pulls ahead I heared a crazy loud blow off as he shiffted He pulled way ahead and went through the next light when it was green. By the time we got the the light it turned yellow to red and we stoped.

Meanwhile Im laughin my ass off since he just got done telling me that AWD sucks. I look at him and say "I WIN MUAHAHA". The Subie is gone, prolly miles down the road and the civic pulls up next to us at the light. My friend looks over, or should i say down at the civic driver and they exchanged looks of *** JUST HAPPENED!

That's a great story.
But we're talking mildly modded F-150 and riced up civic....not much of a competition. Great story nonetheless.
