ok guys. I forget what races i beat to get this car, but it was a skyline 02 prototype. I was like o cool, you know its all widebodied and track ready. Then as i clear the smoke from my brain i realize its a fucking r35!!!!! I was like wow and my peepee got hard. Just wanted to see if any of you guys got that car yet? Also if you want an F1 car, do the nurbergring 24 hour race. Im finishing up my last endurance race as we speak, de la sarth II or someshit. So ill get back to you guys if i win another F1 car on this one. de la sarth I, gives you the audi r8 race car, i already had one so i was like wow gay. But its nice money.

since were on the gt4 track of mind...has anyone else bought the type-x and tried to drift it in that one really big parking lot...drifting sucks in gt4...wish they would make that alittle more realistic...so mark 1 for like the only bad thing for gt4 ive seen so far...no if only i could get the wifey to let me play PS2 more......lol

your ps2 is shot. you need to buy an updated one with the + sign on the box. They remade the lasers, so they run just as good as the jap version now. And read all disks. Much quieter too. I used to work at the game store(EB games) i know the little tid bits about the ps2. They actually blow nuts compared to an x box. But x box only has halo, so fuck that. I traded in my ps2 for xbox and halo 2, then traded in my xbox for ps2 and gt4, whahahhahahaha.


How far are you guys in gt4??? Im only 62.8% i think. But i have all the races beat except for the super liscenses and the one-make races. I have all endurance, rally's, american, european, beginner, professional, and japan races beat. Now im just working on all golds in liscenses. I got all golds in A and B liscenses, and most of the super.

I'm at lile 10%, I beat all licenses except for Super, not all gold though, and beat a few races here and there, nothing big, I don't play that much cause I'm not always at my moms.

i'm like 19% in. got all license but super. i rarely play it cause it takes like 15mins to get it to work.

I never have enough time to play. I am always wrenching or working. And when I am home I like to play with my 2-year-old. I do like it and only get to play like an hour a week. My PS2 does the same disc read error. I tried to adjust the thingy inside and now it only works standing on end.

im at like 66 % but i havent played for like a month or so but i have all the licenses including super and i have most of the special conditions beat(except a few of the hard level ones) all the country specific races beat, all the beginner and mid level races beat, i think all of the one make races beat, ect ect.

i also have like 4 sil80s(rofl im gonna get one in every color)
i have every single skyline in the game, except someone said there was a MNP I, but i havent found it yet. any truth to it?
and anyone far enough to know if the blacked out race cars come back again? i didnt know about them so i only had like 3 mil the first time they came around so i could only get the 787B, but i heard rumors that they come like every 697 days or whatever.

also anyone know what A-spec points do?
im pretty sure B-spec points make your b-spec driver better skillwise but i cant for the life of me figure out A-spec points.
and no, you dont get a paint shop after 10,000 or whatever that stupid rumor is

When you drift, you don't want any camber on the back right? Cause you want the back to break lose, right?

yeah you want it to break loose....but camber helps it happen.
more negative camber will make the top of your wheel tuck in and the bottom flare out.

camber (in gt4) adding is basically adding negative camber

at 0 camber your wheel will be straight up and down. this is optimum position for straight line grip.
thats why ricers who drop their car and their wheels have tons of camber dont grip well when drag racing

too much camber will make your wheels spin too easily and you will spin out

some camber in the front is helpful because when you turn the steering wheel, your front tires camber quite a bit and adding negative camber in front can help them grip better under hard cornering

gt4 is deisnged to use the 900 degree steering wheel, the steering with the controller is going to be worse then it was on GT3.......

get the new 900 degree steering wheel and do some drifting....

yea i was messing around on the game last night and bought the blitz skyline and was drifting with it...i keep having the problem of when i drift and go to rotate into another drift (S turn style) my car just spins out really fast...pissing me off messing with the toe in and out has helped alittle but not much...any of you guys have that same problem? how is the steering wheel with the game anyways..realistic feeling?

it a lot more realistic LOL, you can be more direct, smooth, and more precise inputs so you don't spin out as much
