Water pump torque sequence and specs for 98

There are 7 + 1 bolts required to install a 98 Durango water pump. My manual doesn't have torque sequence/specs.

Please, someone who has or knows, post the torque sequence and ft/lbs suggested for the water-pump bolts.

Well, you've probably solved this by now, but all I ever did was re-tighten like you'd bolt on a wheel....alternate to the "opposite" side as best you can, and just plain tighten it down! Haven't had one leak (or break) yet!

Re: Water pump torque sequence and specs for 98

Yes, I totally SWAGged the torque sequence along the exact same train of thought you posted. I did have a very minor leak. Surprisingly, it was near the top of the pump just above a casting spar. Anywho, I didn't relish the idea of possibly having a poor gasket seat or cracked pump and the subsequent need to remove & replace said new pump. So, I let it sit one day then just gave all the bolts a 1/4 turn. BAM! It's good to go! I put a pressure tester on the system only to discover that the upper hose was spitting. An extra clamp later she's holding pressure like a champ.

Color me good to go!
