clutch problems

i have an odd problem. my 02 ford f150 truck has hydraulic clutch problems. some days i have alot of pedal free play and some times i don't have any. the dealer changed the slave cylinder and bled the system but the problem is still there.

any help would be very much appreciated. thank you.

Had a similar, if not identical, problem on my 2000 Ford F-150. After many hours of bleeding the slave cylinder, pulled the trans and inspected slave cylinder. Finding the clutch disc worn (97,000 miles), replaced the entire clutch and installed a new slave cylinder. At that time, i was infrormed that the slave cylinder "must be power bled". Power bled the system and all worked well.
