Angry Won't Crank - STUCK!

91 Bonny with a 3800 engine. I'm thinking solenoid or starter any diagrams out there of the engine pointing out where these 2 parts are or any help, it's pouring rain and I gotta get to work today. I know in the past a few bangs on the starter may temporarily get me going until I can replace it. PLEASE HELP

FIrst be sure you have voltage. Most common problem with stating is corroded battery connector. Last time it occured to me, there was a fully formed washerlike lead oxyde coat that totally insulated the cable connector from the battery.
Do you have voltage to headlights, dansh, interior lights while you srart? If not, battery connectors are the problem. If you do have voltage to all those while you start, then OK, you may have a problem with the starter or also with the other end of the cable to the starter.
