1994 problem with cold start up

When my 1994 grand marqui starts in the am after sitting all night it acts like it is not getting enought fuel to accelerate, it sometimes will backfire. This last for about 45 seconds then it runs fine the rest of the day. Next day same thing. Changed plugs and fuel filter but didn't help! Could this be the fuel pressure module? Any ideas that to change next welcome.

Re: 1994 problem with cold start up

Couldn't hurt to check the fuel pressure. But since it's only at startup, I'd think it would have something to do with the air/fuel mixture when it's cold. How's your air filter?
